Getting help
Do I need an appointment for the food pantry?
Yes. Call us at (210) 533-7114 and ask for the HP-CAN food pantry, and we'll find a time that works for you.
Does the Tuesday meal cost anything?
No, the meal is free. There's no need to sign up—just come to the Fellowship Hall at 5 p.m.
Can I get free clothing?
Yes, if you're an unhoused neighbor or have been affected by a disaster. Call us first so we can have things ready for you.
About HP-CAN
Is HP-CAN part of Baptist Temple?
No. HP-CAN grew out of Baptist Temple's community assistance work, and in February 2026 we became a separate Texas nonprofit corporation.
